It is easy to pay lip service to environmental issues, to do "enough" to achieve accreditations. It is far harder to adopt a truly environmentally friendly standpoint and carry that ethos throughout your business. We believe it is essential to do "more than enough" and continually monitor our suppliers and processes to maintain our standards and of course the quality of our print. Not all environmentally friendly printers are the same... Here's how we differ:

Zero Carbon Footprint at the point of supply

Most carbon balanced suppliers balance their own outputs only - we balance everyone in our supply chain several times over. We've calculated that door to door and based on our current "average sale", your print will use just under 1 tonne of carbon per tonne of paper. We offset on average 25 times this amount, meaning buying print from us actually has a positive environmental impact.

Your custom has a direct impact on woldwide rainforest preservation programmes

Carbon balancing or offsetting is a cause celebre and many printers and companies are coming on board without considering the wider implications of both print and communications industries. We have made a definite commitment to conservation and preservation of threatened habitats for the benefit of endangered species and our childrens' children.

We minimise the use of water and harmful organic chemicals

ISO 14001 status can be gained by committing to energy reduction and recycling and does not necessarily require that manufacturers change working practices as regards some chemical waste. We share the ethos of 14001 but go far beyond its requirements to provide truly eco-friendly products.

Our paper procurement puts the environment 1st

We are working closely with our suppliers to provide only the most environmentally friendly papers and finishing products from the mill through to manufacture. Most stocks we used can be traced from original source to delivery and are certified as such by the Forest Stewardship Council, via the Chain of Custody accreditation.
